Abram J. Hasner
19, Brownsburg, passed away on May 17, 2025, after an unexpected diabetic ketoacidosis emergency. Abe had just finished his freshman year at Purdue University, where he studied psychology and horticulture. He passionately loved music and was a talented pianist. Seeing his favorite bands live gave him so much joy. He was an incredible artist with a particular skill for capturing the beauty he saw in nature. He had an insatiable curiosity for the world around him. He was a voracious reader and was never without a book. He loved gardening and was a member of the International Carnivorous Plant Society. His friends and family were so important to him, and he loved spending time with them. At the age of 7, he confessed faith in Jesus Christ. He was preceded in death by grandmothers Barb Hasner and D.D. Mayer. Survivors include his parents Jim and Laurel Hasner; siblings Ellie, Ezra, Judah, Ivy, Selah, Arden, and Ansel Hasner; grandparents Ken Hasner, and Mark and Audrey Mayer.
