Albert "Dutch" C. Layton

98, Brownsburg, passed away on August 17, 2022. Albert was a US Army Veteran of World War II, he served in the European Theater. He retired from Indiana Bell in 1993 and worked for IPL. He was also a member of the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his wife Frances Layton, daughter Barbara Roberts, and grandson Cory Elson. Survivors include daughters: Carol Sue (Tom) Elson, Nancy (Steven) Heard, and son Danny (Kim) Layton, son-in-law Guy Roberts, 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Monday August 22, 2022 from 11-1pm at Matthews Mortuary with funeral service at 1pm. Interment will follow at Brownsburg Cemetery with Military Honors.
