Alda C. Robison
age 83, Plainfield, died July 16, 2012. She was a bookkeeper for 29 years at several local businesses, ending her career at C&E Affiliated Stores before retiring in 1993. Mrs. Robison was a member of Plainfield Christian Church, member and Past Worthy Matron of Plainfield Order of Eastern Star 414, and a life time member of Plainfield American Legion Auxiliary. Survivors include daughters Laverne C. Whitmore (Steve) and Vonda D. Ashley (Jim); sister Edna Cothron; 7 nieces and 4 nephews; close neighbor and friend Jill Gee. Funeral services will be 10am Thurs. July 19 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation from 4-8pm Wed. July 18. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
