Alex Matthew Coates
30, Indianapolis, passed away Aug. 20, 2016. He graduated from Brownsburg High School in 2004, Wabash College in 2008, and previously taught Latin at Carmel High School. He was a member of Bethesda Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Jill Coates; children Gareth and Cordelia Coates; parents Michael and Marjorie Coates; brother Adam Coates; sister Amanda (Dana) Henry; parents-in-law Roger and Alice Victor; brother-in-law Cabe (Sarah) Victor; sister-in-law Beth (Paul) Klemmensen; 6 nieces and 3 nephews. Visitation will be from 10am to 1pm Wed. Aug. 24 at Bethesda Baptist Church with funeral services there at 1pm. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Bethesda Baptist Church or School, 7950 N.
