Alice Jeane Galloway
86, of Brownsburg, passed away on May 7th, 2026. Jeane was born in Jacksonville, FL to her parents Clyde and Nola (Morris) Bentley on December 16th, 1939. Throughout her professional career, she held multiple titles, most notably Executive Secretary at American Art Clay. Jeane led a life of service, dedicating much of her time as a dispatcher for the Hendricks County Sheriff’s Department. She was also a member of the American Legion Post 331, as well as the Order of the Eastern Star. Jeane and her family had attended Connection Pointe Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Kenneth Bentley. Jeane is survived by her beloved husband Dave Galloway; sons Mark (Jan) Case, David (Laura) Case, and Gary Case; stepsons Douglas (Shannon) Galloway and Kyle Galloway; 10 cherished grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren. Jeane had a gifted talent as a creative artist, floral arranging, cake decorating, and jewelry designer. She enjoyed sharing her handcrafted items with family and friends. She loved all animals, believed in angels and above all Jesus Christ. She cherished and was proud of all her family and friends.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 13th from 4 pm to 7 pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. A funeral service will be held at the same location the following day, Thursday, May 14th at 10 am. Jeane will then be laid to rest in Brownsburg Cemetery.
