Allen G. Overdorf
86, Brownsburg, passed away on Dec. 13, 2011. Allen was born on Oct. 25, 1925 to Harry and Edna Overdorf in Tipton, IN. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Betty Spoonmore) of 58 years, daughters Pam Clearwater (Marty), Judy Brower (Doug), grandchildren Tonya Gerdt (Bob), Jason Potts (Elisha Blanton), Holly Jordon (Matt), Emily Neely (Mike), 9 great grandchildren, and 14 nieces and 9 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Elva Pauline McCarty, brothers Bill, Bob, Gene, Harry Jr., Jim and Don. Allen was a veteran of WWII having served in the Navy. He retired from Allisons after 38 years, was a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge and Scottish Rite, and attended St. Malachy Catholic Church. He had a passion for cars and golf. Allen's biggest pleasure was always his family and friends. Visitation will be 4-8pm Thurs. Dec. 15 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services 11:30am Fri. Dec. 16 at St. Malachy Church. Burial will be at St. Malachy Cemetery.
