Anges H. Tague
age 88, Brownsburg, passed away Aug. 8, 2011. She was born Oct. 18, 1922 in Vick, Bradley Co., Arkansas to Dennis and Hattie York. She moved to Leavenworth, KS in 1929, graduated from high school in 1940, and then moved back to Pine Bluff, Arkansas where she was employed in the personnel department of Sanderson & Porter, contractors who built the Pine Bluff arsenal. In 1942, during WWII, she met and married Wilbur A. Tague, who preceded her in death. She is survived by son Wilbur Tague Jr., Brownsburg, and daughter Cheryl English, Marion, IL; three grandchildren Aaron Tague, Clista Lovell, and Hunter English; 5 great grandchildren; brother Col. Dennis York of Georgia. She was preceded in death by brother Col. Hansel York of Washington and a sister Jewel. She was employed by Indiana Gas Co. for 27 years and was a member of Northview Christian Church since its beginning in 1968. Funeral services will be 10am Thurs. Aug. 11 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 5-7pm Wed. Aug. 10. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
