Anna "Zena" Lubavs passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022. She was born February 23rd 1939 in Daugavpils, Latvia. She was preceded in death by her husband John Lubavs, and her parents Ignats and Tekla Liepnieks, and her brother Janis Liepnieks. Zena is survived by her brother Juris Liepnieks, and sisters Lidija Rideout and Val Morrison, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and their children.

Zena graduated from John Herron Art School, IUPUl with a bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the top of her class summa cum laude. She was an amazing artist and photographer. Zena retired from DFAS, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service Center in Indianapolis.

Zena worked in Human Resources when she retired and was in charge of the base newsletter. She loved her family and loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and their children.

Visitation will be from 11am to 12 noon Friday November 4 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 noon. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis.
