Anna Portwood Ray age 96, Indianapolis, passed away Sept. 10, 2011. She was a member of the Ben Davis Christian Church. Her husband Raymond Ray preceded her in death. Anna and her sister Lucille were married to brothers. She is survived by children Lou Ellen (Jim) Toombs, Norma (Rufus, deceased) McGlothlin, Betty (Kent, deceased) Duke, Nancy (Larry) Roberts, Donna (Steve) Gibson, and Raymond (Bobbie) Ray; sister Lucille Ray; 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 11 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-7pm Tues. Sept. 13 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral service there at 11am Wed. Sept. 14. Burial will be in the New Winchester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ben Davis Christian Church.
