Anthony (Tony) P Besso of Rockford, IL passed away from this life on December 14, 2023. He worked at the Chrysler plant in Indianapolis and Belvidere for 20 +years. He attended St. Malachy School and Brownsburg High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. Tony was a great team leader, enjoyed making potlucks for his team and making people laugh. He is survived by his parents Donald P Besso and Mary K Besso; two sisters Donna Besso and Amy Besso; three nieces Aspen Besso, Anjelykan Besso, Ashfyre Besso; his aunts, uncles and cousins.  He loved Sidney and Haley like they were his own family and he will be missed by all his family, friends and co-workers.

Visitation will be from 4 pm to 7 pm Wed. Dec. 20 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there on Thurs. Dec. 21 at 10 am.  Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at www.heart.org
