Barbara Ann Brechbiel

80, of Brownsburg, passed away peacefully on April 21st, 2026. Barbara was born in Parma, OH to her parents Robert and Alice (Fry) Bishop on February 18th, 1946. Through her professional career, Barbara managed the Pizza Cellar in French Lick, IN. She then went on to work as a beloved retail clerk at Macy’s for over 27 years. Barbara was also a member of the Ames Chapel in French Lick. She was known as an avid gardener who loved to cook, do needlework, and spend time with her family.

Barbara was preceded in death by her cherished husband Michael Brechbiel, as well as her parents. She is survived by her daughter Michelle (Bill) Payne; grandchildren Lindsay Helm, Brianna (Andrew) Hodge, Keeley (Fred) Waters, Tierany (Nick) Huftel, Kendra (Drew) Marr, and Levi Payne; 13 great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date.
