Barbara L. Garrard, 83, Brownsburg, died April 19, 2011. She grew up in Montezuma, IN and graduated from Blackburn College in 1948. She married John Garrard in June 1949. Her husband John survives. She was the mother of 3 sons Doug (Sandy), Martinsville, Kent (Barbara), Avon Lake, OH, and Stan (Diane), Brownsburg. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; sister Floranne Wittenmeyer. She was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church and the Phi Beta Psi Sorority. Funeral services will be 10am Fri. April 22 at Connection Pointe Christian Church. Visitation will be 4-8pm Thurs. April 21 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery, Montezuma, IN, 2pm Fri. April 22.
