Barbara Faye (Fleischer) Gruber
age 85, Brownsburg, passed away peacefully, October 25, 2014. Formerly in insurance, she committed to staying home to be a full-time homemaker and wonderful mother. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Donald E Gruber. She is survived by her son, Stephen (Lisa) Gruber and daughter, Karen (Richard) Schulze and grandson, Alexander Gruber. Fortunate to live in Brownsburg over 50 years, she sadly leaves behind a wonderful network of friends, including bridge players, bowlers and golfers. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Thurs. Oct. 30 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services 10am Fri. Oct. 31 at St. Malachy Church, followed by a graveside service at in Floral Park Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thanks to the compassionate team at St Vincent's Hospital and Hospice for their care and, in lieu of flowers, ask for donations to be sent to St. Vincent Hospice or the charity of your choice.
