(Barbra) Ann Henderson, 83, passed away peacefully Thursday, December 22. Ann grew up in Irvington, the daughter of C. C. (Corky) and Ruth Bauermeister, and was a proud Howe Hornet. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Education from Ball State Teacher's College where she met her husband of sixty years, the late Mike Henderson. Ann enjoyed her long career as a junior high English teacher in Brownsburg, but enjoyed her family more. She loved spending time with and traveling with her girls, especially to historical places. Her trip to Alaska was her favorite by far. Ann also enjoyed time with her grandchildren, cheering them at their sporting events or simply hanging out laughing and listening to stories. Ann was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother with a quiet strength who will be profoundly missed. Ann is survived by her three daughters, Kay (Gregg) Neidlinger of Carmel, Karen Henderson of Lafayette, and Kathy (Mike) Carmin of Lafayette; her three grandchildren, Jeffrey (Chloe) Neidlinger of Noblesville, Adam (Carly) Neidlinger of Long Beach, CA, and Mallory Neidlinger of Fishers; and her great-granddaughter Blake Neidlinger of Noblesville. The family is especially grateful to the staff at Wellbrooke of Westfield who provided compassionate care for Ann. Services will be at St. Malachy Catholic Church, Brownsburg, Thursday December 29, with visitation at 10 am followed by Mass at 11. Burial will be at St. Malachy West Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Malachy Catholic Church.
