Belinda Kay Sharkey

66, of Brownsburg, passed away on the evening of September 6th, 2026. Belinda was born in Indianapolis to her parents James Lynch and Wanda Trusler on October 16th, 1959. During her professional life, she led a respected 14 year career in finance as Assistant Vice President of the Union Acceptance Corporation. Later, Belinda also dedicated her time as an administrative assistant with the Brownsburg Police Department. Outside of work, Belinda was a faithful attendant of St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Belinda is survived by her beloved children Lindsay (Robert) Link and Jeremy (Elizabeth) Sharkey; siblings James Lynch, Jet Trusler, Lance Trusler, and Sherrie Trusler; cherished grandchildren Jacob Snyder, Samuel Binge, Wyatt Link, Brooklynn Link, and Chloe Sharkey.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 10th from 4 pm to 7 pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. Funeral services will take place on the following day, Friday September 11th at 10 am. Belinda will then be laid to rest in Brownsburg Cemetery.
