Betty J. Hart
96, Brownsburg, passed away August 7, 2022. Betty retired from Western Electric where she had worked as an assembly worker for 30 years. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Telephone Pioneers of America. She loved cooking, NASCAR, Tony Stewart, all of her family, and her dog Cory. The oldest of six siblings, she was preceded in death by her husband William Hart; granddaughter Shawnda Rae Agnew; great grandson Shane Sterling; siblings Jackie Quillen, Vonda Quillen, Kenneth Quillen. Dallas Quillen and Kathleen Cullison. Survivors include her daughter Gaytha Ashmore; granddaughters Shannon Fiscus (Rick) and Shelby Ridner (Kent); great grandchildren Sarah Hopkins (Rob), Douglas Fiscus (Sara), Josh Ridner (Chantel), Devon Jakobe Agnew; great great grandchildren Tarynn Fiscus, Kyle Fiscus, Gavin Sterling, Jackson Hopkins, Emberlynn Ridner, Kelly Vine, Leia Vine, Thomas Gray, and David Gray; several nieces and nephews with special affection for Monna Phillips and Patty Sue Thompson; friend Jan Tunney. Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Thursday August 11 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 noon. She will be buried next to her husband at Brownsburg Cemetery.
