Betty S. Truax

79, Brownsburg, passed away on May 23, 2023.  She was a secretary for Allison Transmission for 37 years.  Betty enjoyed spending time shopping with Toni, going on trips with the neighborhood gals, and loved travelling with family and friends to Shipshewana.  Betty was always positive and loved to give to others.  She was preceded in death by her husband Stanley Truax; parents Leonard and Stella Stegemoller; brothers William, Elmer, Edwin, Lee, and Fred Stegemoller; sister Helen Campbell.  Survivors include her children Toni Lynn (Leon) Golladay, Bradley Eugene (Donna) Truax; brother Earl Stegemoller; grandchildren David (Kelly) Golladay, Daniel Lee (Sally) Golladay, Abigail Truax; great grandchildren Wyatt Golladay, Nathaniel Golladay.  Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Tues. May 30 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 pm.  Entombment will be in Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown.  Donations may be made to Misty Eyes Animal Center, 616 S.
