Beverly (Justice) Sinclair

74, passed away March 29, 2018, surrounded at home by family in Brownsburg.  She was born October 10, 1943 in Detroit, MI.  She was the fourth child of Lee and Gladys (Martin) Justice.  She graduated from Lincoln High School (Vincennes, IN) and the University of Evansville where she met her husband of 49 years, Arthur Sinclair. The two were married August 24, 1968 at St. Catherine of Siena Church in Hammond, IN.

She also earned a master's degree from Valparaiso University and made a career as an educator. She began the Title I program in Westville, IN and spent countless hours in retirement volunteering at her grandchildren's schools and tutoring. She carried a lifelong adoration of books and loved reading to children. She also volunteered at the Valparaiso Americans.  Beverly enjoyed spending her free time watching her children and grandchildren play sports. She also enjoyed cheering on Butler, Notre Dame and Indiana basketball.  She is survived by her husband, Arthur Sinclair, her son Matt Sinclair, his wife Desiree and their children Ryne and Samuel ; daughter Leanne Fought, her husband John and children Jackson and Ainsley; son Sean Sinclair; and brother Gerald Justice.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Robert Justice, and sister, Betty Bouchie.  In lieu of flowers please make a donation to Brownsburg Library or Valparaiso Library.

A memorial church service will be held on Thursday, April 5 at St. Malachy Catholic Church (9833 E County Rd 750 N, Brownsburg, IN 46112) at 11:30 a.m. followed by lunch at the church.  A memorial visitation service will be held on Friday, April 6 at Moeller Funeral Home (104 Roosevelt Rd, Valparaiso, IN 46383).  Visitation hours will be from 1-5 p.m.  The family would like to invite friends and family to The Market (2405 Morthland Dr, Valparaiso, IN 46383) immediately following visitation hours for food and cocktails to celebrate Beverly's life.
