Bobby Paul Choate

90, Brownsburg, passed away on March 15, 2023.  Bob had a deep passion for the Lord.  When able, he always loved to be in the garden, manicuring and landscaping their yard, detailing his vehicles, and loved his dustbuster.  Bob believed in taking care of the things they owned.  He married Peggy Joyce Choate (Barrett) on May 5, 1951 in Black Oak, AR.  Bob has worshipped at Traders Point Church of Christ for 67 years and served as an elder for 30 of those years.  Bob was employed by General Motors for 41 years and retired in 1993.  He was preceded in death by his first grandchild Alison Choate; parents Opal and Gertha Choate; two brothers and one sister.  Survivors include his wife Peggy; sons Ron (Diana) Choate, Jeff (Joyce) Choate; grandchildren Eric (Emily) Choate, Denise (Bryan) Welch, Kimberly (Scott) Hostetter, Krista (Sam) Venegas; great grandchildren Shane, Braydon (Alyssa), Rayne, Zhenia, Lincoln, Adelyn, Zane, Gatlin, Avery, Colton, Easton; sister Marilyn Williamson.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Fri. March 24 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm.  Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Tunnel to Towers Foundation at www.t2t.org
