Brenda L. Alejos
70, Warner Robins, GA, formally of Pittsboro, IN, entered into rest on the afternoon of Tues. Mar. 14, 2017. Brenda was born on Jan. 13, 1947 in Revelo, KY to the late Wymen and Nellie D. Ross. She graduated from McCreary County High School in Sterns, KY and went on to earn an Associate Degree in Nursing from Marian University in Indianapolis, IN. Brenda was a much -loved nurse at Houston Medical Center for many years before retiring. She leaves her memory behind with her devoted husband, Jose A. "Tony" Alejos of Warner Robins; children, Jeffrey Alejos of Panama City Beach, FL and Melissa Burch of Springtown, TX; granddaughter Rachael Rayford of Springtown, TX; brothers Simon Ross, Greenfield, J. B. Ross, Greencastle, and Billy Ross Huntsville, AL; sisters Kenzella Ross, Clayton, Phyllis Campoli, Brownsburg, Helen Fuller, Indianapolis, Wanda Lee, Clayton, and Betty Hampton, Coatesville. She was preceded in death by brothers Lenden, Bobby, Otis, and Thurman Ross. Visitation will be from 11am to 1pm Mon. Mar. 20 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1pm. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Brenda Alejos to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101-2151.
