Brenda Kay Turner
Age 65, Brownsburg, died on April 25, 2013. She was born on Dec. 21, 1947 to Robert and Ethel McCoy in Bowling Green, KY and was raised in Clayton, IN. She graduated from Cascade High School. Her first full time job was at Public Service of Indiana. Then she decided on a different career with J.C. Penney for 23 years as a supervisor. Upon leaving J.C. Penney she continued to work part-time for Clark Oil and The Hendricks County Flyer. She is survived by her husband, Gerald Turner, Jr.; daughter Ashley (Andrew) Schrier and two step-daughters Robyn (Doug) Hall and Jennifer (John) Cooper. She's blessed with seven grandchildren, Noble, Dustin, Trevor, Jason, Emily, Mary Katerine, and Sarah Jane. She has two brothers Fred McCoy and Jerry McCoy (deceased), plus two sisters Pauletta (Gary) Padgett and Melissa McCoy. She was a very loving wife and mother, and will be missed by friends and family. Family and friends will gather for calling and visitation Friday May 3 from 4-7pm, with memorial services at 7pm at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.
