Bruce Edward Armstrong, age 80, Brownsburg, passed away April 4, 2014. He had been a project manager for the Indiana State Highway Department and retired from the US Army Reserves. He was a member of St. Malachy Catholic Church and the Brownsburg American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents Douglas and Beatrice Armstrong; brothers Doug and George Armstrong. He is survived by his wife Carol Armstrong; children Vicki (Dwain) Biddle, Mark (Rosella) Armstrong, Lisabeth Cheever, Megan (Brad) Simmons, Doug Armstrong, Jim (Heather) Armstrong; 14 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sisters Mary McKinzie, Betty (Don) Courtney. Funeral services will be 12 pm Tues. April 8 at St. Malachy Catholic Church with visitation there from 10 am to Noon. Burial will be in St. Malachy Cemetery.
