Bruce Alan Hakala

April 3, 1955 - April 27, 2025

Bruce Alan Hakala, 70, of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away on April 27, 2025 at his home. He was predeceased by his parents, Fredrik and Doris Hakala, his brother Robert "Bob" Hakala, and his daughter Tracy Brown. He is survived by his brother, David F. Hakala, his nephews, Richard Hakala, Robert "Rob" Hakala, Jr., Jason Hakala, David N. Hakala, nieces Kimberly Balasco, Marcia Hakala, and Lauren King, and many great nieces and nephews.

Bruce was born in Weymouth, Massachusetts and attended Weymouth High School until he joined the Army.  He was stationed in Germany. He returned to Massachusetts after his military service and worked as a Printer and Horse stable hand. Later in life he lived in Conway, New Hampshire where he would provide guided horseback tours through the White Mountain National Forest, or local ski resorts.

His favorite activities were horseback riding, hiking with his dog, and jamming out to Lynrd Skynrd.
