Byron L "Barney" Hunsinger

93, Brownsburg, passed away September 29, 2021. Byron served in the US Air Force from 1950-54 and retired from Detroit Diesel Allison General Motors Division, after 28 years.  He was a long-time active member of Connection Pointe Christian Church where he served as an elder, Sunday School teacher and financial secretary.  His son Chris Hunsinger preceded him in death.  Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Aleene Hunsinger; daughters Janene (Azar) Nader and Jana (Kenny) Thompson; daughter-in-law Kathy Hunsinger; sisters June Kay Rankin and Neva Ann Sullivan; grandchildren Scott (Courtney) Thompson, Jamie (Mike Craven) Thompson, Anna (Brian) Bratta, Jordan (Danielle) Nader, and Lydia (Andrew Urdiales) Nader, and five great grandchildren. Memorial visitation will be from 9am to 11am Saturday October 9 at Connection Pointe Christian Church with memorial services at 11am.
