Carl E. Heady

The son of Gladys Elizabeth (Durham) Heady and Charles Edward Heady, Carl Edward Heady passed away on Feb. 26, 2022.  He was a graduate from Lawrence Central High School and attended Butler University.  He served nine years in the Army Reserve and was stationed at Fort Benjamin Harrison.  He met the love of his life Mary Jo Wilson and they were married on May 3, 1952.  She preceded him in death.  Carl was also involved in the AJBC/YBA Youth Bowling Association and had his own business Carl Heady and Associates.  Carl loved the outdoors, and new love for cats and making things with his hands.  Carl is survived by son Gregory S. (Anne) Heady; daughters Brenda K. (Carl) Grigsby, Marcia L. (Dan) Smith; two grandsons Christopher P. Grigsby and Richard E. Grigsby.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic Inc., 409 N. Green St., Brownsburg, IN  46112 or to Boystown, 14100 Crawford St., Boystown, NE  68010.  No services are planned at this time.
