Carl R. Vaughn 85, Brownsburg, passed away April 29, 2011. A graduate of Rose-Hulman Institute, he had worked for Castleton and Hall House Lumber for over 50 years, retiring in 2000. He was a US Marine veteran of WWII. His wife Barbara Vaughn preceded him in death. A gentle man, he was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, and family man. He is survived by children Michael Vaughn, Scott Vaughn, Judy Northern, and Timothy Vaughn; brothers Gene Vaughn, Dave Sedam and Ted Sedam; sisters Jewell Levitt and Gloria Coram; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1pm Mon. May 2 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 11am to 1pm. Burial will be at Brownsburg Cemetery.
