Carol Plackard, 70, of Brownsburg, passed away on February 29, 2016. She had been an administrative assistant for General Motors. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl McShirley and Virginia Hipsher. Survivors include her children Damon Plackard, Daron (Tami) Plackard, Steffani (Dave) Walston, Jodi Plackard; brother Donnie McShirley; grandchildren Kassidy, Devon, Brayden, and Brooks. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Thurs. March 3 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 1 pm. Burial will be in West Ridge Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
