Carol S. Ward, 71, passed away on Sept. 26, 2015. She worked in human resources for the State of Indiana. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Ward; parents George and Daina Berzenye; sister Rose Ann Kelley; and brothers Terry and Jon Berzenye. Survivors include children Brian (Tabatha Hellmers) Ward, Caryn (Erick) McCoy, Scott (Cindy) Ward; brothers Michael, Tony and Chris Berzenye; sisters Mary K. Waters, Shelley Olivas; grandchildren Randy (Alisha) Ward, Marcus, Estella, and James Ward, Danielle and Katelyn McCoy, Alexis (Kipp) Arnold, Abigail and Adrianna Ward; Justin and Zachary Abner; great grandchild Kynzlie Arnold; sister-in-law Avis (John) Byram; brothers-in-law Donald Ward, Keith Ward. The family offers their sincere and heartfelt gratitude to the IU Health Nurse, Anne O'Connor, and spiritual counselor Neal Dreadin for their tender and loving care for Carol. Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Wed. Sept. 30 in Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg with memorial services there at 1 pm. Contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen.
