Carol Ann Wilhite, 57, Pittsboro, passed away May 11, 2015. She had been a teacher for 33 years, currently teaching at Lincoln Middle School of Pike Twp. where she had been named teacher of the year in 2012. She was Valedictorian of her high school class, graduated from Millikin University with honors and received her Master's degree from Butler University. She was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church. Survivors include her husband William Wilhite; parents Raymond and Martha Young; brothers Paul Young and Mark Young; sister Nancy Askins. Carol loved and cherished her family and many friendships that she had developed. She always put them first in all matters and was there for them in every situation. Her spirit will live on with all of us forever. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Wed. May 13 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 10:30am Thurs. May 14. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
