Carrie W. Gwaltney, 94, passed away on Sept. 1, 2015. She had been an instructor for Ward Secretaries at Methodist Hospital for 15 years. She was preceded in death by her husband Edwin Gwaltney and parents Albert and Bertha Atkins. She is survived by son Jack Gwaltney; daughter Waneta Lowe; 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10-11 am Fri. Sept. 4 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with graveside services at 11:30 am at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown, IN.
