Carsen David
Henderson
March 1, 2010 – February 13, 2026
Carsen David Henderson, age 15, of Brownsburg, Indiana, passed away on February 13, 2026, leaving behind his loving family and friends as well as a legacy of compassion and caring for those less fortunate.
Born on March 1, 2010, Carsen is a treasured part of a large and extended family that he loved fiercely, often showing it with the greatest hugs. As the little brother, he was extremely proud and looked up to his older brothers. Carsen led with his heart. He was a champion for the less fortunate, the needy, and the elderly regardless of relation. He was often seen going out of his way to open or hold a door for everyone. Many might call him the jack of all trades, but he was never happier than when he was wearing country clothes, including his cowboy boots, while spending time outdoors and fishing at the lake.
Carsen is survived by his loving parents, Amanda Henderson-Stutler and Michael Stutler of Brownsburg, IN; two brothers: Ryan (Caitlyn) Stutler of Camp Lejeune, NC and Cooper (Tanner) Henderson of Anderson, IN; grandparents: Sandy Cummings of Brownsburg, IN; Richard and Carolyn Stutler of Madison, IN; and Toni Kiser of Plainfield, IN; aunts and uncles: Abby Cross of Brownsburg, IN; Ashley and Adam Rosemeyer of Danville, IN; Amy and Marc Bassett of King George, VA; and Brianna Casagrande of Plainfield, IN; cousins: Olivia Ray, Bryson Cunningham (Kadence Bishop), Milo Cross, Andrew Bassett, Cohen Rosemeyer, and Clara Rosemeyer; and one nephew: Luca Stutler; as well as numerous friends and family including our cherished Three Point Lake Family. He was preceded in death by two grandfathers: Donald Kiser and Richard Cummings as well as two great aunts: Donna Klein and Terri Stutler.
Visitation will be from 4 PM to 6 PM on Friday, February 20, 2026 at Matthews Mortuary, 690 E. 56th Street, Brownsburg, IN 46112. A funeral service, celebrating Carsen's life, will immediately follow the visitation at 6 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Society for the Prevention of Teen Suicide https://sptsusa.org
