Cathryn J. Loe 62, Brownsburg, beloved wife of David, passed away January 2, in her home surrounded by her family. An active member of Lutheran churches throughout her adult life, Cathy served as organist, Sunday school teacher, choir director, and choir member. A member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church at the time of her death, she was an active member of the choir and altar guild. A devoted wife and mother, Cathy took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home for her family. After raising her daughters she returned to teaching for the Archdiocese of Indianapolis at All Saints and St. Matthews. Active in Neuro Education Research, Cathy presented for the Archdiocese. In 2003, she was presented the Mother Theodore Guérin Award for excellence in teaching. Her husband, David, and daughters, Courtney Engle, Liz Hudson, and Abby Greci (Dominick), grandchildren, Lucia Engle, Caleb, Maggie, and Miles Hudson, Nolyn and Dakoda Greci (baby girl Greci due February) all survive. She is also survived by her mother, Betty Heacox, sisters, Linda and Libby Heacox, and brother, Don (Laura). She was preceded in death by her father, Don Heacox Sr. Visitation will be from 11 am- 1 pm Thursday, January 7 at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, with funeral service there at 1 pm.
