Obituary

Charles Russell Carvin

"Chuck", 67, of Brownsburg, passed away April 25, 2020.  Chuck received his accounting degree from Indiana University in 1978 and became a certified public accountant.  He served as a night auditor at the Brickyard Crossing Inn and owned his own CPA firm for 20 years.  If you knew Chuck, you'd know he was the biggest IU fan; so much so, that he arranged for his body to be donated to the IU School of Medicine.  He had a 23 year long battle with chronic lymphocytic leukemia and lost that battle after contracting Covid-19.  His wife Sally Lee (Cramer) Carvin and brother Kent Carvin, preceded him in death.  Survivors include his daughter Ami (Dustin) Stamm; sisters Kay Weikel and Ann Scanlon; grandchildren Cody (Cindy), Kylie, Casey and Kourtney; great grandchild Jillian.  The family will be arranging a celebration of life at a later date due to the current pandemic restrictions.
