Charles T. Cogswell, 93, Brownsburg, passed away January 12, 2024. Born in Urbana, IL to John B. & Lulu B. (Burke) Cogswell, he was the youngest of seven siblings, which all have proceeded him in death. Chuck married Mary E. (Mullis) Tarvin in 1970. He is survived by his wife, nieces & nephews and their children.

Chuck served in the US Army in Korea and was honorably discharged in 1953. He & brother John owned a full service station next to the Carle Hospital on University Ave. in Champaign. They retired in 2002 to run their farm and eventually, he and Mary moved to Brownsburg, IN in 2016 to be closer to his niece and nephew.

Services will be private with burial in Grandview Memorial Gardens, Champaign, IL. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a local Humane Society or animal sanctuary.
