Charles William Helber

64, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 8th, 2026. Charles was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 29th, 1962. He went on to work as a self-employed painter for 40 years, as he went on his retirement he enjoyed playing poker every week, he loved fishing, boating, and being on the water.

He was preceded in death by his parents Robert Helber and Bonnie Whiteman, as well as his 2 brothers George and Danny Helber. Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Jane Helber; children Brandon Helber, Ashley (Jeremy) Farley; siblings Bob (Sheryl) Helber, Paul Whiteman, Jack (Nina) Whiteman, Pam (Jerry) Pruitt; sister-in-law Lisa (Bruce) Voltz; brother-in-law Donnie (Debbie) Moster; nieces Jade Voltz and Erica Moster; nephew Logan Moster; grandchildren Nathan Farley, Aiden Farley, and Masen Helber.

Visitation will be held from 2 pm to 4 pm on Tuesday, July 21st at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services to follow at 4 pm.
