Charles C. McLean
89, Brownsburg, passed away August 10th, 2017. Born and raised in Dayton, Ohio. He served as a ship's engineer mate in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Afterwards, he attended General Motors Institute in Flint, Michigan and graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He worked as a product development engineer for Raybestos in Crawfordsville for much of his career, retiring from Carlisle Manufacturing in Martinsville and settling down in Brownsburg. He was recently preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Jean Ann McLean. Survivors include children Scott (Laura) McLean, Almont, Michigan, Karen Radcliff, Westfield, Audrey (Scott) Dybedock, Brownsburg; five grandchildren ranging in ages from 13 to 25: Christian & Grace Dybedock, Trey & Drew Radcliff, and Ryan McLean.
