Charlotte A. Davis

It's fitting that Charlotte was born on Valentine's Day.  She was a sweet, loving and generous person.

Charlotte was proud to be part of the Speedway, Indiana community and loved hosting dinners and parties in her basement.  She was always up for visiting a state park, Taco Tuesdays with her pals, watching the Lawrence Welk show, making personalized cards and baskets and munching on a couple of White Castles.

Charlotte will now be playing Euchre, dominos and penny poker with her favorite people who have been waiting for her; husband Bob, son Bobby (Sue), brother Billy (Iva) and parents Bill and Ruth.

Members of Charlotte's tribe still standing: son Garry (Debbie), brother Randy (Mary) Sorgius, granddaughters Amy (Kevin) Ross, Nikki (Adam) Jones, Kimberly Davis and Jessie (Joseph) Davis.  And seven great grandchildren.

Special thanks to the staff of Miller Merry Manor.  They were all great.  And Southern Care Hospice (Hannah, Hayley and Rick) for kind and compassionate care down the final stretch.

Visitation will be from 10 am to 12 pm Sat. July 12 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 12 pm.  Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Instead of flowers- and she was serious about this – take a loved one or friend out to lunch or dinner and share a couple of stories you have about her.  And while you're at it, give a toast to Charlotte with a couple of onion rings, her favorite food.
