Charlotte "Dutch" Wood
Age 100, Indianapolis, passed away Nov. 9, 2016 with daughter Nancy at her side. She was born in Bloomingdale, IN to Josiah and Grace Hobson. Dutch cherished her 62 years with deceased husband Howard Wood, former coach, athletic director, and principal of Ben Davis High School. Dutch had an "other oriented" servant's heart, her cup always overflowing and a song always on her lips. Dutch was preceded in death by husband Howard and son Ron Wood. She was survived by son Duane Wood, Cedarville, OH; daughters Nancy Inskeep, Crawfordsville, IN; Linda Eller, McKinney, Texas, and their spouses. She had 10 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:30pm Mon. Nov. 14 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 10:30am Tues. Nov. 15. Memorial contributions may be made to Dutch's Hobson Family Coloma Friends Church, 1511 N.
