Cheryl A. Grout

67, Brownsburg, passed away on October 18, 2022. She was a longtime member of Connection Pointe Christian Church in Brownsburg and a member of The Church and Synagogue Library Association. She was an avid reader and started the library at Connection Pointe Christian Church. Cheryl had a passion for painting and loved being a wife and mother. On June 2, 1979 she married Brent Grout. Cheryl had a real passion for people in Eastern Europe, especially Kosovo, where she and Brent took a mission trip in 2005. They returned in the spring of 2017 to visit their son, Jeremiah, who was a mission intern in Kosovo.  She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Lukenbill. Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Brent Grout; sons, Brad Grout, Jeremiah Grout, Zach Grout; father Marion Lukenbill; brother Gregory (Mary) Lukenbill; sisters, Rochelle Atkins, Heather (Rachel) Blank-Lukenbill. Visitation will be from 4pm – 7pm Mon. Oct. 24 at Connection Pointe Christian Church, Brownsburg. Funeral Services will be Tues. Oct. 25 at 11am at Connection Pointe Christian Church with visitation beginning at 10am. Memorial Donations may be made to the Missions Department at Connection Pointe Christian Church.
