Christopher G. Finchum
Age 42, Pittsboro, died at 5:55pm on Saturday June 22, 2013, with his wife by his side in Louisville, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8pm Tues. June 25 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg. A memorial service will be held on Wed. June 26 at 10:30am at the Pittsboro Baptist Church in Pittsboro. He was born on August 14, 1970 in Indianapolis to David and Elena Finchum. On August 9, 2008 he married Theresa Somerville. Chris was a person with many varied talents ranging from collegiate swimmer to occupational therapist to painting artist and singer, and now he sings in Heaven's choir. Chris is survived by his wife Theresa; mother Elena Finchum; two siblings David Finchum Jr. (Cheryl) and Carmelita Davis; five nephews and six great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father David Finchum Sr. and a sister Deborah.
