Christopher Raymond Vescovi, 88 of Pittsboro, passed away Friday, February 4, 2022 with his family around him.

Christopher was born March 14, 1933, in Roundup, MT, to the late Inez M. Coley and Aldo Vescovi.  His family moved to Indiana in 1945. He served in the Army from 1953- 1955 and was stationed in Germany.  He married Carol S. (Hughes) Vescovi (who proceeded him in death) in July 1955. The two were married 64 years.  He was a heavy equipment operator and retired in 1995 after 40 years with the IUOE Local 103.  Christopher loved basketball and would often be watching multiple games at once.  He was also very active and loved being outside working alongside his son Brad, whether it be cutting firewood, restoring old tractors, or simply doing yardwork.

Christopher is survived by his children Tony Vescovi, Brad Vescovi wife Missy, Angela (Vescovi) Reynolds, husband Scott. Grandchildren Shelby (Reynolds) Vieira, husband JT, Collin Reynolds, Lauren Vescovi, and Christopher Vescovi and two great-grandchildren Arlee Vieira and Jose Vieira.

In keeping with his wishes, a private service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. for family and close friends with burial immediately following.  He will be laid to rest in the Lizton K of P Cemetery.
