Clayton L. Smith
93, Brownsburg, passed away October 16, 2022. He had been an engineer at General Motors and then Rolls Royce before retiring. He was a long time member of Calvary United Methodist Church and the Brownsburg Lions Club. Clayton was also a member of the Sons of the American Revolution and the Toastmasters Club. His wife Doris Smith, parents Arley and Ella Smith, and sister Noramae Ladd preceded him in death. He is survived by daughters Paula Heintze (husband Charles), Deborah Ratz (husband James) and Jeanne Hoogerwerf (husband Richard); grandchildren Anne Rice and Khristine Meyer; great grandchildren Juliette, William, and Ella Rice and James Meyer. Visitation will be from 10am to 12 noon Saturday October 22 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 12 noon. Graveside services will be at 2pm at the Cicero Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Brownsburg Lions Club, P.O. Box 84, Brownsburg, IN 46112
