Obituary

Clyde E. Neese, Jr.
88, of Brownsburg, left this world on Jan. 29, 2011. He was born in Indianapolis, IN to the late Clyde E. Neese, Sr. and Pearl Redell Byers Neese. Mr. Neese worked for Detroit Diesel Allison division of GM for 38 years retiring in 1987. In 1990 he began working at the Kroger in Brownsburg where he was well liked by everyone retiring in 1998. He had a workshop called Neese's Craft Shop where he made ceramic doves and boards that he would sell at craft shows all over Indiana. Mr. Neese was a charter member of the Messiah Lutheran Church in Brownsburg and had been a 67 year member of the Celestial Lodge 525 F&AM of Whitestown, IN. He was a World War II Veteran in the Army Air Force, and an airplane mechanic, an aerial engineer and flew on B24 and B29 bombers. He was preceded in death by his wives Florence Viola Riner Neese, Fern Maxine Dickerson Neese, Mildred Louise Hays Neese, and daughter Sheryl Ann McKinnis. He is survived by his companion, Catherine Williamson; daughter, Sheila (Michael) Gray; son, Karol (Pam) Neese; stepchildren, Myrna Graham, Jerry Dickerson, Kenny Dickerson, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Tues., Feb. 1st at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with visitation there from 11am-1pm Tues., Feb. 1st. Burial will be at Lincoln Memory Gardens.
