Obituary

Colleen Danelle Cross, 45, passed away August 18, 2020 after a long brave battle with cancer. She is survived by her husband, Jonathan; her daughters Kayla (20) and Jacey (16); Sisters Dawn (Ernie) Hickman and Jaclyn (Jeremy) Nohren; Nieces & Nephews:  Ryan (Laura) Hickman, Tiffany Hickman, Abby Crary, Wyatt Nohren, Josalynn Nohren, Luke Cross, Noah Cross, Sophia Cross, Katherine (Eric) McMahon, Kaleb Bishop, Abbey Bishop & Olivia Bishop.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rick & Marcia Gibboney, Grandparents William A. & Ruth Gibboney and James & Ruby Hiner.

She loved nothing more than her family and friends. She was a loving mother, a dear wife, and a loyal friend. Her smile could light up any room, and her laughter was infectious.

Always the proud softball mom, she relished in supporting and watching her daughters shine on the diamonds. When she wasn't at the softball fields she could always be found surrounded by books. She loved history, and had a voracious appetite to learn all she could, down to the finest details. She always loved her animals.  She rescued and had many pets during her life, which we're sure made for a rowdy reunion at the Pearly Gates.

Her life made this world a better place, and the years we were blessed to have with her is proof that God loves us, and wants us to be happy.

Memorial services will be held at 11am Saturday August 22 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg.  In compliance with current requirements and restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and observe social distancing.
