Connie Jo Garland

57, Brownsburg, passed away May 1, 2021.  She received her Bachelor Degree from Indiana University and was a research assistant at IU Health and Riley Hospitals.  She was a member of the Avon United Methodist Church and member and past president of the Turner's Syndrome Society of the US.  Her father Charles Thomas Cox preceded her in death.  Connie was the loving and very proud mother of Martina Sutton, her daughter she personally adopted in Bulgaria.  Connie was a member of a very large and loving family.  Other survivors include her husband John Garland Jr.; mother Shirley Cox; brother Timothy Cox (wife Suzanne); sister Cathy Babcock (husband Bruce).  Visitation will be from 4-7pm Wed. May 5 at the Avon United Methodist Church, 6850 E. US Hwy 36, Avon, IN 46123, with funeral services 2pm Thurs.
