Curtis I. Burns
Age 72, Brownsburg, entered his eternal rest Dec. 24, 2018. He had been a school teacher for the Brownsburg Community Schools for 32 years, retiring in 2003. He received degrees from IUPUI and Butler University. Curtis was a member of the Plainfield Bible Church and Phi Delta Kappa and had served in the National Guard from 1966 to 1972. Survivors include his wife Sandra Jean Burns; children Casey (Paola Angel) Burns and Andrea (Rob) Glass; sister Glenda Jones; grandchildren Taylor Glass, Ryan Glass, Hayden Glass and Amelia Burns. Visitation will be from 4-7pm Friday Dec. 28 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 11am Sat. Dec. 29. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
