Cynthia Kay Jack

61, passed away to heaven on Saturday April 28 th , 2018 at her home in Brownsburg, IN. She was born August 13, 1956 in Indianapolis, IN to William "Bill" Jack (1920-2006) and Mary K Jack of Indianapolis/Brownsburg. She graduated in 1974 from Ben Davis High School. After high school she attended Purdue University. Cynthia worked for Columbia Photo (MO) as an Office Manager and Quaker Oats (MO) over a 10-year span and her latest employment was with Speedway LLC, division of Marathon Petroleum Corp for over 30 years. She was an accomplished management employee who worked her way from General Manager, District Manager to her last position as Audit Coordinator, encompassing 120 locations throughout central Indiana.
While Cynthia was known for her hard work ethic, fairness and "can-do" attitude throughout her professional career, she was also known for her "care-taking" nature, fun-loving and friendly attitudes and passion for life. She was blessed with an unbelievable loving nature for everyone, regardless of who you were!
Cynthia loved the sun, gardening, travel, cars, her dogs and her recent found love of defending the 2 nd amendment (pew, pew!). Almost any sunny warm day you would find her and the dogs in the yard working on her gardens, mowing, etc. She always had a list of "projects" to do when her friends visited but was always ready to help others with their list of "projects". She had a "green thumb" which she inherited from her father. She loved to travel, Las Vegas, Key West and recently England (UK) being her favorite spots. She loved going to the cruise ins with her dad. He had a'55 Bel-air and her with the '70 Mustang convertible. Her latest car love was her Mini Cooper with the top down and cruising the country roads. She loved going to the range to work on her target practice, (pew, pew) with AJ and Amy.
Cynthia is survived by Mary K Jack, mother; Stephen "Steve" Jack, brother, (Georgia); Amanda "Mandi" Jack, niece; Kristina "Nikki" Jack, niece (Virginia); Thelma Todd (Jack), aunt; and her wonderful life-long loving "sisters" Angela "AJ" Jones, Amy Russell (Ohio), and Rita Davis and lifelong friend Cathy Gray. Her "extended family", Penny "Mom Penny" Jones, Nancy "Mom Nance" Jones, Tom "Dad Tom" Jones, Sr., McKinley Kucharski (Ohio), Ethan Hagan, Jo, Tony & Connor Preston (England, UK), Bob Orman (Missouri), Kenny Draffen (Missouri), Melissa & Scott Kelsey, Donna "Nana" Hagan.
Cynthia elected that no services be held. In lieu of flowers, Cynthia has asked donations to be made in her memory to Cynthia's go fund me account ( https://www.gofundme.com/in-memory-of-cynthia-k-jack ) which all funds will be donated to Villobos Rescue Center in Louisiana, Hendricks County (IN) Humane Society and IU Simon Cancer Center for biliary cancer research. A "Celebration of Life" ceremony will be held later date to be determined and interred near her father, William "Bill" Jack and aunt, Alberta "Bert" Nagel, that she treasured so much. Daughter, sister, aunt, and loving friend will be missed and always loved by all!
