Daniel J. Grubbs

63, Brownsburg, passed away peacefully at home on August 20, 2021 surrounded by his loved ones.  He worked in warehouse logistics for Endangered Species Chocolate Company for many years.  He was a 1976 graduate of Northwest High School.  Dan was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He was the most proud and loving grandfather to his amazing grandchildren Mia and Ryan, doting on everything about them in every way.  He was preceded in death by his parents Howard and Mitzi Grubbs; sisters Kathy Ping, Vicki Hill; brothers Steve and Jay Grubbs.  Survivors include his wife Nancy Grubbs; children Lucianne (Andrew) Forgey, Nicole Hendrix, Robert (Nicole) Hendrix; sister Laura (Eddie) Swails; grandchildren Mia Forgey and Ryan Forgey; niece Tamara (Steve) Beck; and many other loving nieces and nephews.  Visitation will be from 4 pm to 6 pm Wed. Aug. 25 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services at 6 pm.
