Daniel M. Thomas, 72, Brownsburg, passed away Nov. 18, 2015. He had worked for GM and Rolls Royce, retiring in 2008. He was a member of the Speedway Church of Christ and had been a volunteer fireman for Perry Twp. Boone County. Survivors include his wife Betty Thomas; daughters Anna M. Thomas (Tom Porter), Mandy Funkhouser (Keith), and Amy Ellett (Kent); sisters Diana Maloziec and Alice Skinner; seven grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be from 4-8pm Mon. Nov. 23 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services there at 10am Tues. Nov. 24. Graveside services will be 12:30pm at the Calcutta Cemetery, Clay County.
