David "Dave" Robert Gerow
76, Westfield, passed away on Friday January 5, 2024.  He was born to Robert and Betty (Cardenas) Gerow on February 15, 1947 in Indianapolis.  Dave was a graduate of Arlington High School and an attendee of Indiana University.  He married Kathy (Knox) on October 3, 1970.  Dave was Vice President of Sales for EBSCO Subscription Services for 26 years.  He was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Brownsburg.  Dave was an avid trumpet player and member of the Indianapolis Symphonic Band for approximately 35 years.  Additionally, he was a member and part owner of the New Ventures Big Band.  Dave enjoyed sharing his love for music with others, and he was active in the Phillips Music Guild of Indianapolis.  He was a dedicated grandfather, a wonderful photographer, a patient fisherman, and a woodworking hobbyist.  He enjoyed spending time with family and friends at the family Lodge near Ludington, MI.  Dave is survived in death by his wife, Kathy Gerow; children Derek (Jennifer) Gerow and Nicole (Chad) Reed; grandchildren Nick and Audrey Gerow and Chloe and Cole Reed; brothers Ron (Jeanne) Gerow and Jim (Vicky) Gerow.  He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Jeremy Gerow.  Visitation will be from 11 am to 1 pm Thurs. Jan. 11 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with funeral services immediately following at 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in honor of David Gerow to the Phillips Music Guild at www.phillipsguild.org Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
